To put on the belt: pull the belt up over your hips like a skirt, pulling from the bottom, not the top. Place the belt higher for relief of lower back and SI-joint pain. Position the belt lower on your hips for hip and pubis symphysis pain.
Tighten the Velcro straps to secure the belt for walking/activity and loosen them when sitting down. The belt should provide support without being uncomfortable or restrictive
